We recommend having as many experiences as possible before you graduate, not only because experience makes a desirable candidate for employers, but also because it's data collection for you to know what you do and do not want for your career.

Since you are at the beginning of your education, you may or may not have decided on a major yet and the idea of having to declare a major may or may not make you feel anxious. But don't worry about what choose here today, you are not committing to anything serious, you're simply exploring. You can always change your mind and explore other areas of study as you wish.

Victim Services of Middlesex-London
Volunteers respond immediately to requests for victim assistance from emergency personnel by attending on site or at an alternate safe premises throughout Middlesex County and the City of London.

Although it would be ideal for you to have as many placements as possible to give you a better idea of the kind of work you enjoy, there simply is not enough time do such a thing. To save you time, we've complied a library of "a day in the life of" videos" so you can see what a typical day is like any given profession. As you explore these videos, ask yourself whether you could see yourself doing that long-term or not.
